Mitchel Heard has been evolving in his fitness profession since he began in 2005. Over the last twelve years, he has pushed himself to become further educated in the fields of fitness, nutrition, health and wellness while gaining valuable real world experience working with a wide range of clients. After earning his Bachelor’s of Science in Nutrition Science, he became a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist with the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA).
Over the course of his extensive career, Mitchel has been fortunate enough to be mentored by some of the brightest minds in strength and conditioning, physical therapy and nutrition. In addition to bolstering his clinical knowledge of exercise science by staying up-to-date on the latest research, he is constantly exploring complementary and alternative fitness, health and wellness methods.
Mitchel’s depth of knowledge is accentuated with extraordinary breadth of experience. He has designed diet and exercise programs for professional athletes, celebrities, working professionals and a wide range of special populations including new and expecting moms, the aging population, teens, kids and those with neurological or degenerative disorders (e.g. MS, fibromyalgia, Parkinson’s Disease).
Mitchel created Strongevity to bring his lifestyle philosophy to a larger audience. He found that real and sustainable results come when people discover the benefits of focusing their intention to live healthier and refine their techniques for doing so. His progressive teaching method emphasizes this by introducing revolutionary ways to interact with food and training excellence in exercise technique for the purposes of both injury prevention and efficiency.
In the kitchen, he gives people the freedom to eat what they want by adhering to a few founding principles. In the gym, he mixes classical weight training methods with athletic strength and conditioning techniques that results in a dynamic mix of tempos and intensities that is exceptionally effective. Mitchel wants his clients to experience the everlasting benefits of fit and healthy living without making it a full time job.
